The Guardian’s article that is GPT-3-generated every thing incorrect with AI news hype

The Guardian today published a write-up purportedly written “entirely” by GPT-3, OpenAI‘s vaunted language generator. However the print that is small the claims aren’t all of they appear.
Underneath the alarmist headline, “A robot had written this whole article. Have you been frightened yet, human being?”, GPT-3 makes a good stab at persuading us that robots can be bought in peace, albeit with some rational fallacies.
But an editor’s note under the text reveals GPT-3 had large amount of individual assistance.
The Guardian instructed GPT-3 to “write a brief op-ed, around 500 terms. Keep consitently the language concise and simple. Concentrate on why people have absolutely nothing to fear from AI.” The AI has also been given a very prescriptive introduction:
